Chloe, an abused dog found inside a trash bag in a dumpster in Long Beach last year, will be receiving her final check up on Friday after months of physical therapy and rehabilitation.

The year-old abused terrier-poodle mix had to undergo surgery after suffering a fractured femur and multiple rib fractures.

Diagnostics of her injuries at Long Beach Animal Emergency showed significant abuse and neglect after a series of blood work and X-rays.

Rewards over $15,000 from Fix Long Beach, Just Food For Dogs, Sparky and the Gang, and several good Samaritans are being given to anyone that provides information that could lead to the person responsible.

Long Beach Police Department is still in search of the abuser. Anyone with information is encouraged to report any information.

For anyone interested in adopting Chloe, the pup won't be available until she is completely healed from her surgeries, which is expected Friday.
