Man Flashes Woman on College Campus: Police

A man allegedly exposed himself to a female student sitting in her car at Los Angeles City College last week and police are hoping the video recorded by the victim will lead them to the suspected flasher.

A 51-year-old student was seated in her car when a man in his mid- to late-20s walked up to the driver-side door and exposed himself, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The woman began recording to the incident with her cellphone. Soon after, the man stepped away from the car, zipped up his pants and milled about for "a few seconds," authorities said, before walking away toward Vermont Avenue.

Stills from the student's cellphone video show the man sporting distinct tattoos on both forearms, pictured below.

The incident happened about 4 p.m. Monday, April 8 in parking lot No. 1 on LACC’s campus (map).

Friends urged the student to report the Monday afternoon incident, but she chose not to immediately go to police, authorities said. Law enforcement learned about the incident from "a campus source" before tracking down the victim on Friday.
