Despite just a minimal chance of rain going into Thursday, clouds heading in from the northwest brought showers and hail to Southern California.

Around 2 p.m., rain was reported in Agua Dulce.
Thunder was reported in parts of the Inland Empire. By 3 p.m., the storm had pushed south into the Valley, with thunder and rain spotted in Burbank.
There were reports of hail in Long Beach and snow in backyards in Rancho Cucamonga as the day progressed.
The wet weather is set to pair with windy conditions. Although the wind shouldn't be as troublesome as the storm that knocked out power across the region a few weeks ago, there is potential for damage.
High-wind warnings will be effect for much of Los Angeles and Ventura counties between 3 a.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday.
"The most susceptible areas for the strong winds will be through and below northeast facing passes and canyons," according to the National Weather Service.

"If you're in the San Gabriel Valley… I'll tell you right now, we're going to see winds there but nothing, nothing like two weeks ago. That's good news," said NBC4 Meteorologist Byron Miranda.
Winds speeds will range between 20 to 30 mph in some areas and gusts could top 50 mph, according to the NWS
High-wind watches -- a less-serious advisory -- for Orange and Riverside counties were increased to high-wind warnings, in effect from 4 a.m. Friday to 1 p.m. Saturday.
"A high-wind warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage," according to the NWS.
Thursday will remain in the high 50s, with a low of 43. Historically, the average high for Dec. 15 is 69 degrees.
An off-shore flow expected to warm up the region heading into the weekend, with a high of 66 for Friday and 67 for Saturday.
