A 25-year-old man was found shot dead Sunday morning in front of a house party in Bellflower.
There was a fight between some people in front of a home in the 17100 block of Downey Avenue prior to the shooting, the Sheriff's Information Bureau reported.
Deputies from the sheriff's Lakewood station dispatched to the scene at 12:35 a.m. in response to an "assault with a deadly weapon, gunshot victim" call reported they found the shooting victim in front of the residence suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper torso.
Paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene and the Sheriff's Information Bureau said no suspect description was being released at this time.
