Police arrested a man who allegedly attacked his estranged wife and her boyfriend with a knife, wounding them both and holding them captive for hours at the boyfriend's home Sunday, authorities said.
Both victims were expected to survive, said Sgt. Eric Eppolito of the Los Angeles Police Department's Topanga Division.
Investigators were trying to piece together exactly what happened before the ex-wife was able to call police at about 1:30 p.m., leading them to a house in the 4700 block of Nomad Drive.
However, the ordeal had apparently gone on for hours before she called, Eppolito said.
The wife suffered a minor injury in the attack. The boyfriend was stabbed in the neck. He underwent surgery and was expected to survive, Eppolito said.
