A San Bernardino County man was convicted Wednesday of raping two homeless women and attacking another female transient in Pomona in 2017.
Jurors deliberated about 1 1/2 days before finding Charlie Nathan Paxton, 25, of Chino Hills, guilty of two counts each of forcible rape and assault with intent to commit rape and one count each of kidnapping to commit rape and second-degree robbery, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
The panel also found true allegations of kidnapping and aggravated kidnapping during a sexual assault, according to Deputy District Attorney Brendan Gibson.
The attacks occurred between September 2017 and November 2017, according to the prosecutor.
Paxton was captured after one of the victims helped police to identify him, according to Gibson.
Paxton -- who is due back in a Pomona courtroom for sentencing Oct. 22 -- is facing up to 84 years to life in state prison, according to the District Attorney's Office.
