A man was found fatally gunned down and another shot in chest in Gardena Monday.
The first victim was discovered conscious after being shot in the torso on Vermont Avenue between Artesia Boulevard and West 170th Street at around 3:36 p.m, a Gardena Police Department spokesman said. He was taken to the hospital for surgery, and his condition is unknown.
The second victim, who was in his mid-30s, was found when officers searched the area.
