A fatal shooting occurred Friday in a parking lot adjacent to a Bank of America in the city of Paramount.
The incident occurred near Paramount and Alondra Boulevard shortly after 10:30 a.m.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s homicide bureau was investigating the shooting.
The incident was not linked to a robbery, authorities said.
