A man was killed and another badly injured after a car crashed into a pole in La Puente Thursday,
The passenger died at the scene of the crash, which occured at North Meeker Avenue and East Temple Avenue, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.
The driver was transported to USC Medical Center, and is in critical condition.
So far, it is unknown what caused the crash, however there were long skid marks leading up to the pole. There was no other vehicles involved in the crash
