Man Killed, Another Critically Injured in Lennox Stabbing

A man was killed and another was in critical condition after both were stabbed Wednesday night in the Inglewood neighborhood of Lennox, authorities said.

The stabbing was reported around 8:16 p.m. in the 5000 block of W. 111th Place, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies arrived and a man who had been stabbed gave them a description of the attacker. Another man inside the home suffered multiple stab wounds, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Both were taken to a hospital.

"The three men had some sort of a disagreement inside the residence and that led to our suspect producing a knife,"said LA Sheriff's Department Lt. Steve Jauch.

A 46-year-old man was pronounced dead at the hospital. The second stab victim, a 61-year-old man, was in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Later in the evening, deputies in South Los Angeles received a call of a man claiming to be an assault victim a few blocks from the original stabbing, authorities said.

The 24-year-old man, who had minor injuries, was arrested after being identified as the attacker in the earlier stabbings.
