Man Wanted on Suspicion of Molestation

San Bernardino police say the man met a 13-year-old girl online and may have other victims

The San Bernardino City Police Department is looking for a man wanted on suspicion of finding underage sex via the Internet.

The suspect is identified as Michael Ray White, 60, with no known home address.

Police detectives say he picked up a girl, 13, in Lancaster and brought her to a San Bernardino motel on Dec. 29. She was found in the room the next day, however, White was gone.

β€œShe had been missing from Lancaster since the night before after she had been involved in an argument with her mother,” said San Bernardino Police Chief Robert Handy.
White was driving a rental car, which was found Thursday afternoon in Upland. Police say there were sightings of him everywhere from Redlands to Covina.
β€œOur investigation has revealed multiple other girls coming and going from the room from November to the end of December,” said Handy.

Police say there may be as many as 40 victims he met online.
