Three men ages 19 and under have been arrested for allegedly stealing Amazon packages from a delivery van in Glendale, police announced Wednesday.
Officers were dispatched about 12:30 p.m. Sunday to the 200 block of West Loraine Street to investigate a report from an Amazon delivery driver who said she saw two male suspects enter her van and steal packages while she was delivering items to a home, according to Glendale Police Department spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.
The woman reported the two males got into a black BMW without license plates and fled toward Valley View Road, Lightfoot said.
"While the officers were responding to the call, the Glendale Police Department Communications Division received a separate 911 call from a witness that was following the suspect vehicle," Lightfoot said.
"The witness reported he saw males steal a package from a delivery truck and directed the officers to the suspect vehicle at the Shell gas station located at Kenneth Road and Grandview Road."
Officers arrived at the station and detained three suspects -- later identified as Emajea Porter, 18 and Anthony Henderson, 19, both of Carson, and Jordan Maclamore, 18, of Henderson, Nevada.
"The witnesses positively identified the suspects and they were taken into custody and booked for petty theft and conspiracy to commit a theft," Lightfoot said.

All three suspects were released on Monday after posting $500 bail, according to sheriff's inmate records.
The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for filing consideration, Lightfoot said.
