Service on the first extension to the Metrolink Antelope Valley line since it was built in 1994 began Monday, providing four additonal Riverside County stations.
Metrolink 91/Perris Valley Line service began early Monday with stations at Riverside-Hunter Park/UCR, Moreno Valley/March Field, Perris-Downtown and Perris-South.
The agency is offering discouted fares for the opening. Riders will receive a $10 promotional round-trip fare when traveling within Riverside County and 10-percent discount on tickets starting at one of the new stations and traveling outside of Riverside County.
