Spa Week: Milk Masks & Bovine Stem Cells

Mud masks and face creams are so '90s.

Beverly Hills spas are utilizing milk -- squeezed just moments after a cow gives birth -- to create a mask that they say takes years off your face.

"This is right after birth, so it has the most nutrients, and you get the best results possible," said Pearl Stringer with The Spa at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Inc. "What you'll notice is that the skin is tighter and looks younger."

The spa treatment is topped off with bovine stem cells applied directly to the face.

Normally, the procedure costs between $100 and $250.

"Just for Spa Week, we are offering it for $50 a piece," said Christine Chiu, owner of The SPA @ BHPS, Inc.

The cheaper prices, in honor of Spa Week, are meant to entice hesitant consumers who wouldn't normally spring for the treatments.
