Family of Missing LA Man Calls for Public's Help in Search

Family calls for public's help in search of Frank Smith Jr. who disappeared on Sept. 3, 2015.

The family of a missing 93-year-old Los Angeles man is urging the public's help to find him, police said Tuesday.

Frank Smith Jr. was last seen around 10 a.m. on Sept. 3 in the 4100 block of Third Avenue in Los Angeles.

Smith is a 5-foot-11 black man with gray hair and brown eyes and weighs about 205 pounds. He was last seen wearing a short-sleeve button down Hawaiian shirt, beige pants and a dark baseball cap.

He drives a two-door black 1994 Mercury Cougar with a California license plate number 3JST138.

LAPD was unable to provide any further updates since Smith went missing.
