A multi-car collision occurred Monday night on the westbound Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
As many as five people may have been injured in the collision, according to Erik Scott of the fire department.
No fire or cases of entrapment were reported in the crash.
There were preliminary reports that two vehicles involved in the accident were traveling at a high rate of speed, and the drivers may have been street racing. However, that had not been confirmed by late Monday night.
