Leave the cars at home this New Year’s Eve, Angelenos.
Metro is once again offering free rides during a five-hour period between New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, and even after the free rides have expired, the lines will be running all night.
Revelers can hop on any Metro rail line or the Orange bus line between 9 p.m. Monday and 2 a.m. Tuesday and bypass paying for the trip. The lines will run every 20 minutes, and day passes are good until 3 a.m. Tuesday.
