Nudity on Two Wheels to Streak Through L.A.

World Naked Bike Ride rolls through town on Saturday

"Every year, in cities around the world, people ride bikes naked to celebrate cycling and the human body." So declares the Web site for the World Naked Bike Ride, which is coming to Los Angeles this Saturday.

The ride began in 2004 as a protest against cars, by exposing the "indecent exposure of people and the planet" to accidents and pollution.

Of course, people don't need much of an excuse to act freaky in the city of Angels, although the wildest bikers out there are usually riding hogs.

Rides are also planned in San Francisco for the same day, and Berkeley the following Saturday.

And don't worry -- scantily clad riders won't be turned away for lack of butt crack.

Jackson West laughed when he saw a ride scheduled for Burning Man, like they need an excuse for more nudity.
