Natalia Padilla was last seen about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at her apartment in the 1200 block of West Diamond Street, said Anaheim police Sgt. Rick Martinez.
Her daughter woke up Wednesday morning and found the front door of their apartment open and her mother missing, Martinez said.
She was found about 1:30 p.m. Thursday by someone who recognized her from news coverage and called authorities, said Anaheim police Sgt. Rick Martinez.
Padilla was reunited with her family within an hour, he said.
Martinez said Padilla was found five to eight miles from her home.
"She took a couple of blankets with her," Martinez said.
