Occupy L.A. Eviction Deadline Update

The Occupy L.A. protests have been peaceful so far overnight after the eviction deadline passed.

The Los Angeles police department has called a citywide tactical to handle any potential problems caused by the 12:01 a.m. deadline imposed by city officials on the Occupy L.A. encampment.

LAPD officers have formed a police line at the corner of Main and 1st Streets at 1:30 a.m. for crowd-control purposes.

NBC4 News reporter Angie Crouch is at the scene and says so far all the protests by the Occupy L.A. members have been peaceful.

So far it appears both sides are taking a wait-and-see attitude.

We'll have further updates of the goings on with Occupy L.A. as they are warranted.
