One person was killed early Monday in a crash on the westbound 60 Freeway in Monterey Park.

The victim's vehicle crashed into a center divider before it was struck by another vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol. The driver of the car that struck the victim's vehicle called the CHP to say the disabled vehicle was blocking the fast lane when he hit it.
The crash was reported at about 2 a.m., just west of Atlantic Boulevard.
The crash shut down all westbound traffic on the Pomona Freeway at Atlantic Boulevard.
