A pedestrian was struck and killed in a crash Tuesday morning in downtown Los Angeles.
Authorities closed nearby streets for the investigation after the victim was struck just before 6 a.m. near 6th Street and Towne Avenue. The driver was detaine near the scene, according to Los Angeles police.
