A person died after a pick-up truck plowed into a tractor trailer on the northbound 405 in Sherman Oaks early Saturday.
The incident occurred near Ventura Boulevard at 12:55 a.m, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pick-up truck went up in flames after the collision, and the driver was later pronounced dead on scene
It is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the incident, and the driver will not be identified until they get in contact with the next of kin.
A Sig Alert was issued after the crash, but was lifted just after 4 a.m.
