Five people were killed after an airplane crashed into a parking lot in Orange County on Sunday. The flight tower at nearby John Wayne Airport gave approval for the aircraft to land at one of its runways after the pilot declared an emergency, according to National Transportation Safety Board. Moments later, the plane crashed at 12:30 p.m.
