A suspect in an allegedly stolen Ford Mustang convertible led officers and deputies on a chase from Palmdale to the Santa Clarita area Thursday.
The driver evaded PIT maneuver attempts but ran over spike strips that flattened the Mustang's tires.
The chase ended about 6:40 p.m. on state Route 126 near Six Flags Magic Mountain, where the driver pulled over and surrendered.
