Police Looking for Suspect Who Beat Up Elderly Man on Bus

Investigators are also looking for a woman who was with the attacker when the incident happened.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly beat up an elderly man on a bus in Culver City.

The suspect was with a woman on the bus around 1:45 p.m. on Nov. 22 when he got into some sort of argument with the older man.

After a few seconds of arguing, he can be seen on surveillance video standing up and repeatedly punching the man in the head and face. Both the man and the woman left the scene, and the victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, according to a statement from the Culver City Police Department.

The suspect is described as a man in his early 20s with a mustache or goatees. He was wearing camouflage shorts and a maroon sweatshirt with a brown pocket at the time of the attack.

Police are also looking to speak with the woman the suspect was with at the time. She is described as in her early 20s and has dark hair. She was wearing a black shirt and black pants and carrying a skateboard at the time of the incident.
