Police urged Gardena residents to stay inside Wednesday afternoon as they searched for a "dangerous suspect."
Officers were searching from the 12900 block to the 13200 block of Gramercy Place and St. Andrews Place about 2:30 p.m., according to the Gardena Police Department.
Police told residents to avoid the area and stay inside their homes. Anyone who sees suspicious activity should call police at 310-323-7911.
