Buena Park Police are learning more about the woman whose body was discovered in a dumpster behind an apartment complex Saturday.
She apparently died just hours before someone discovered her body which had been stuffed into a suitcase, according to authorities.
The identity of the woman was not known. The Buena Park Police Department has sent a missing persons report across the country to try to identify her.
An official cause of death was not immediately known but authorities say she suffered trauma to her body. The woman was described as five-feet-five-inches tall, 120 pounds, with dark hair. They say she was not wearing any clothes.
Police have received some leads and are investigating.
