Police on Thursday released a sketch of a man suspected of breaking into two homes and sexually assaulting two victims in Riverside last month.
On May 15, officers responded to the 6400 block of Crest Avenue after reports that a man entered the home shortly after 3 a.m. and sexually assaulted two victims, according to the Riverside Police Department.
One of the victims woke up and saw the attacker before he took off in a car parked in front of the home.
Later that morning, officers were dispatched to a home in the 6700 block of Green Avenue, approximately one mile from the earlier incident.
Two women reported they were awakened by a knock on the window and a bright light. They looked outside and saw a person exposing himself. The women yelled and the person fled the home in a vehicle.
Police released a composite sketch of the suspect in both incidents. A "vehicle of interest" that appears to be a white 2000 to 2006 model Chevy Suburban or GMC Yukon XL was also being sought in connection to the assaults and break-ins.
Anyone with information regarding either of these incidents is asked to contact SACA Unit Detectives at (951) 353-7261, or rpdtips@riversideca.gov.
