LOS ANGELES -- A 25-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in the Crenshaw district Monday, police said.
The shooting near Coliseum Street and Nicolet Avenue was reported about 9:15 a.m., said Los Angeles police Officer Sam Park of the Media Relations Section.
The victim, whose name was withheld, was shoot in a leg and an ankle, Park said.
Two people fled the scene in a U-Haul truck, he said.
