The North Pole? It's a long way off, typically, but for a few special weeks, you can find a sprightly slice of it in Long Beach, at the Queen Mary. The brand-new CHILL, a long-running holiday event that unfurls next to the ship, will now take visitors on "...an icy expedition honoring international holiday celebrations and the cultural celebrations of Germany, Switzerland, China, Russian, Holland, and the North Pole." Tickets are on sale now.

As for the mega Ice Park? Well, "mega" is the operative word: It will stand at 38,000 feet, and include ice bumper cars, ice skating, ice shuffleboard, a 100-foot-long ice tubing slide, and several other frosty features.
