Authorities Thursday released security video of a vehicle chase that ended in a shooting in 2016 that took the life of a 16-year-old girl in Lynwood, and reminded Southlanders that a $30,000 reward was in effect for information that helps solve the crime.

Danah Rojo-Rivas was fatally wounded on Nov. 23, 2016 at about 9:30 p.m. at Euclid Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department released security video on Thursday, May 17, 2018, of a 2016 chase that ended in a car-to-car shooting, killing a 16-year-old girl who was driving home from church with her mother.

The teen was sitting in the back seat of a vehicle driven by her mother, and they were heading home from church when another vehicle began chasing them, a sheriff's statement said.

"During the car-to-car chase, gunshots were fired from ... a silver or gray four-door vehicle, possibly a Ford Taurus," he statement said. "The suspect vehicle was last seen westbound on Euclid Avenue."

A $30,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can help officials find the killer of a teen who was shot during a crossfire between cars a day before Thanksgiving. Kim Baldonado reports for the NBC4 News at 5 on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016.

The combined reward includes $20,000 from the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and $10,000 from two private citizens, the sheriff's department reported.
