In the long history of the Alabama and Texas football programs, the two teams have met just eight times on the gridiron. Football fans will now get a chance to see a ninth.
Tickets for the Bowl Championship Series college football final game on Jan. 7 at the Rose Bowl between Alabama and Texas will go on sale at 8 a.m. Tuesday at ticketmaster.com or by calling 213-365- 3675.
A maximum of two tickets can be purchased per call and four tickets per person. Single tickets will be available. The price is $275 per ticket, plus Ticketmaster handling fees.
Tickets can also be bought or sold on the game's official fan-to-fan ticket exchange.
