Teen Found After Going Missing at Santa Ana Night Club

She was last seen after excusing herself to use the restroom.

A 16-year-old girl who went missing from a club on New Year’s Day was found Saturday, police said.

Lizbeth Mateo, a Kent, Washington resident, was visiting her family in Santa Ana for the holidays.

She and a family member went to El Festival Club at 230 East 3rd Street Friday night.

She was dancing around 1:30 a.m. before excusing herself to use the restroom.

She never returned to the table, Santa Ana police said.

She was last seen in the clothing in the picture, which was a striped black and white tank top with black pants.

Police used bloodhounds to try and track the teen down.

She was found in Anaheim Saturday night, police said.
