Deputies are investigating reports of a shooting where several people were struck Friday evening in Artesia.
The condition of the victims and what led to the shooting, in the area of 167th Street and Pioneer Boulevard, was not immediately clear, according to Lt. Matthew VanderHork of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
VanderHork said initial reports indicated two or three people had been struck.
No other details were immediately clear.
