Three men, one armed with a shotgun, robbed a Circle K store Tuesday and got away with cash, beer and other merchandise, a sheriff's sergeant said.
Riverside County sheriff's deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at 73010 Ramon Road in Thousand Palms at 2:46 a.m., sheriff's Sgt. Radek Horkel said.
Three in dark clothing and bandanas over their faces entered the store and demanded money from the clerk, he said. One of the men had a shotgun, and the clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money, Horkel said.
A description of a getaway car was unavailable.
No injuries were reported.
Anyone with more information about the holdup was asked to call detectives at 760-836-1600.
