Actor Tom Sizemore was arrested for domestic violence near downtown Los Angeles, authorities said Thursday.
Officers arrested Sizemore about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Beaudry Avenue, said Los Angeles police Officer Bruce Borihanh of the Los Angeles Police Department.
TMZ.com reported that the 47-year-old Sizemore was arrested "after an argument with a woman allegedly became physical," and that bail was set at $20,000. RadarOnline.com reported that LAPD officials said Sizemore was arrested for slapping his girlfriend.
Sizemore -- who has appeared "Black Hawk Down" and "Saving Private Ryan" -- has spent a good deal of time in courtrooms in recent years.
On May 28, Sizemore was arrested in the Mount Olympus area on an outstanding narcotics warrant out of Bakersfield. In 2007, he was sentenced to prison for violating probation in a drug case. In 2003, he was convicted of hitting his then-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss.
