
Police were chasing a vehicle in the Downey area on Wednesday.
The chase began sometime before 9:30 p.m. after law enforcement received a report of an armed robbery.
Officers caught up to the driver in a residential area in Downey near Potter Street and Pioneer Boulevard, where the suspect ran into an apartment complex's parking lot in an attempt to evade police. Ultimately, officers found the man and made an arrest.
Authorities did not release the name of the driver or specify what charges they may face.
