Two People Arrested After Leading Erratic High-Speed Pursuit Near West Covina Area

The man drove erratically through the streets, going on the wrong side of the road, ran red lights, and briefly clipped another vehicle.

Two stolen car suspects were arrested Friday night after a vehicle pursuit that began on the Pomona (60) Freeway in West Covina ended in a residential neighborhood in Pomona.

A male driver and female passenger were being pursued in a white Kia Soul through the freeways.

The chase began at 9:44 p.m. in West Covina and at times reached high speeds on both the freeway and streets in Pomona.

A man and a woman bailed out of the car in the area of Cornelia Street and Canterbury Avenue near the Chino Valley (71) Freeway around 10 p.m. 

Police searched the area and located them around 10:32 p.m.
