Sriracha Supporters Show Up For Irwindale Plant

Supporters of famed hot sauce Sriracha rallied outside Irwindale City Hall on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, as the City Council debated whether to shut down the facility over "spicy and offensive odor" complaints. David Tran, who owns the plant and founded the sauce's production company Huy Fong Foods, Inc., joined supporters outside. "They can kill me but they can't take my business," he said while holding Sriracha bottles in both hands. The decision was tabled Wednesday evening.
