Man Plows Stolen Work Truck Into West Hollywood Business

A driver fled after he plowed a work truck he stole from street cleaners into a business in West Hollywood early Friday morning.

The crash occurred at around 3:54 a.m. near West Santa Monica Boulevard and Croft Avenue, after a man stole the truck from workers who were cleaning the streets at San Vicente Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department West Hollywood Station.

Los Angeles County firefighters pulled the truck from Mail, Boxes and Things, a notary public and mailing service.

A detailed description of the driver was not immediately available.
