The mission of Susan G. Komen is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures.
The Race for the Cure Orange County makes a massive impact on the movement to end breast cancer. The event funds mammograms, breast health education and outreach and research to find cures. 1,000 volunteers are needed on Race day to make the event happen.
