Fifteen people were injured Sunday when an MTA bus and an open-top tour bus collided in Beverly Hills.
The accident occurred around 3:23 p.m. near Wilshire Boulevard and Linden Drive, Beverly Hills Police said.
A 720 Wilshire Rapid Transit bus was traveling westbound when it apparently crashed into the back of a City Sights LA tour bus while it was parked in the right lane. The Rapid Transit bus sustained front-end damage and a broken windshield.
Nine people were transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital with minor injuries, police said.
Tow trucks were called to the scene to separate the buses and clear the debris.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
