Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Street Closures

Race events are schedule for Friday through Sunday in Long Beach, but some areas will be closed ahead of the competition

The Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will mean street closures for parts of downtown Long Beach this weekend. 

Race events are scheduled for Friday through Sunday, but some closures will begin ahead of the competition. The following areas will be closed:

5 a.m. Wednesday to 5 p.m. Monday: Seaside Way from Pine Avenue to the eastern end of Seaside Way; Linden Avenue from Ocean Boulevard to Seaside Way; Marine Way from Locust Avenue to Collins Way; Atlantic Way from Ocean Boulevard to Seaside Way; Marine Way from Hart Place to the eastern end of Linden Avenue; northbound and southbound Linden Avenue from Shoreline Drive to Marina Parking lot; Locust Avenue from Ocean Boulevard to Seaside Way; Cedar Avenue at Shoreline Drive; Bay Street at Pine Avenue, and The Paseo at Pine Avenue and Aquarium Way from Shoreline Drive to Chestnut Avenue will be restricted.

7 a.m. Wednesday to 11:59 p.m. Monday: The Bike Path beginning at Seaside Way and Chestnut Avenue east to a point approximately 400 feet east of the permanent concession stand behind the Villa Riviera will be restricted.

7 a.m. Wednesday to 5 p.m. Monday: Shoreline Drive westbound from the Ocean Boulevard and Alamitos intersection to 3rd Street on-ramp northbound; Chestnut Avenue southbound and northbound from Seaside Way to Queensway Bridge; and, Aquarium Way from Shoreline Drive to Chestnut Place, and Cedar Avenue at Shoreline Drive will be restricted.

3 p.m. Wednesday to 5 p.m. Monday: Shoreline Drive eastbound from Broadway off-ramp to the Ocean Boulevard and Alamitos intersection; Golden Shore on-ramp to Shoreline Drive eastbound, and Shoreline Village Drive from Marina Parking lot to Shoreline Drive will be restricted.

6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Daily: Pine Avenue from Ocean Boulevard to Upper Esplanade; Promenade South from Seaside Way to Shoreline Drive Terminus, and the walkway off of Seaside Way from Hart Place to the east end of Seaside Way will be restricted.
