Police Thursday night were investigating the "suspicious death" of a 51-year-old man found inside his Tustin townhome.
Lt. Tom Tarpley said police were called to the 1400 block of Valencia Avenue at 7:51 a.m. Investigators were removing evidence from the home well after 9 p.m.
Tarpley told NBCLA there was evidence of trauma to the body and investigators were treating the death as a homicide.
No suspects were named or in custody.
The victim shared the home with his fiancé.
The victim's name was not released pending notification of next of kin.
