Veteran Nonprofit Helps Pandemic Frontline Workers

Health care workers who’ve been on the front lines of the pandemic for more than four months are beginning to buckle under the pressure, and experts say the trauma they’re experiencing is similar to that seen on the battlefield during war.

A program that has helped veterans is now being used to help them.
