The driver of a white Chevy SUV hauling a trailer was leading the California Highway Patrol on a chase on the 210 Freeway in the Rancho Cucamonga area Wednesday afternoon.
CHP said the chase began around Grand Avenue and Puente Street in Covina at 2:18 p.m.
The driver was wanted for impeding traffic.
Traffic was wide open on the eastbound 210 Freeway as about four CHP patrol cars followed the driver.

The driver eventually pulled over and got out of the truck wearing an orange vest and white hardhat.
The driver laid flat on the pavement and was taken into custody without incident near Citrus Avenue.
