Woman Goes Missing in Long Beach

Long Beach Police Friday night asked for the public's help in locating a 52-year-old missing woman. 

Sarah Preston Schrock "came to the City of Long Beach from Kansas City to visit a relative.  She was staying with the relative at a residence in the 400 block of East Ocean Boulevard," according to an e-mail from police.

"She left the home yesterday afternoon (11/4/10) at approximately 3:00 p.m. to go for a walk and did not return.  A missing person report was filed last night at approximately 9:30 p.m. by the relative.

"This morning, her wallet was found about a half-block from where she was staying by a person who turned it in to police.  The woman is hearing-impaired, but she can speak and communicate. 

Schrock's family described her as white, 5’2”, 130 lbs., grey hair and hazel eyes.   She was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with writing or a logo on it, black Capri pants and white tennis shoes.
