Cops Seek Man who Sexually Assaulted Woman in Pasadena

The attack happened in an alley in Old Pasadena on Saturday night

Police on Tuesday were asking for the public’s help to locate the man responsible for sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s in Pasadena on Saturday night.

Police say the attack happened on Saturday at 11:30 p.m. as a woman was leaving a restaurant and bar at Colorado Boulevard and Holly Street.

The man grabbed the woman, who was alone, from behind, took her to Legge Alley, and assaulted her before running away, police said.  The woman had just walked away from her friends to make a phone call, police said.

Police said the man was armed with a sharp object that they wouldn't identify.

The man is described as Hispanic, 30s to 40s, and 5 foot 8. He has a medium build and was wearing dark clothing.
