A woman was hit by a bullet while she was sitting inside her home in South Los Angeles Wednesday night, authorities said.
A woman was sitting in her house on Wadsworth Avenue, north of 42nd Street, when she was shot in the arm with a bullet around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Newton Division. The bullet came from outside her home.
She was transported to a local hospital, police added.
Police were investigating how the bullet entered her home, or who may have been responsible.
